California's Hot Spots

California is the most dynamic, biggest, diverse and most developed state of the US. It is situated on the pacific coast of southwestern US and is the third largest state of the nation. The state has the maximum number of population and its developed economy offers the dwellers high quality of living services. The state is equally important for tourism purpose as it houses most of the national parks, excellent fun opportunities, beaches, Disneyland, Hollywood, aquariums and lots of other activities.

Los Angeles:
Los Angeles is reputed as the paradise city of state California and is the second largest city in the whole United States in terms of population and area. The city attracts with its fascinating Hollywood, Sunset Strip, Beverly Hills and the famous beaches that adds more reputation to its state despite of other high quality of living standards. The city is a major center of international tourism and visited by millions of tourists every year from all over the globe.
  • Griffith Park: The Park is the largest spread in the whole California state. It is also referred as the Central Park of Los Angeles and situated at the eastern end of Santa Monica Mountains. The large park harbors the Los Angeles Zoo, owns numerous family friendly diversions and exhibits of about 2,000 animals and their natural environment, the Griffith Observatory and a planetarium, is a window to the universe, shows natural manifestations such as eclipse of moon and sun and other cycles.
  • Grauman's Chinese Theatre: The theatre is famous for its forecourt where screen legends have left their imprints in cement, the largest autograph collections, foot and hand prints of more than 150 film personalities.
  • Los Angeles County Museum of Art: one of the country's leading art museums, unique paintings, sculptures and decorative arts from around the world.
  • China Town: A vibrant cultural and social hub of Chinese Americans, where various galleries related to Chinese culture and history can be found. Chinese restaurants and Chinese markets with colorful offerings are the major attractions.
  • EI Pueblo de Los Angeles: The most compact, colorful and impressive historical park of the state, preserves the Los Angeles foundlings from origin with its oldest buildings and oldest street, Olvera Street. It is referred as the historic district of the city.
  • Disneyland: World famous destination features hundreds of rides, attractions, adventure parks, shops, restaurants etc. The park includes several theme designs which create new kind of world appearance. This can also be considering as mother of all theme parks that has captured the hearts of millions of visitors from all around the world. Jungle theme, fantasy land, adventure land, space age etc are some popular themes of the park. It is the first home of famous cartoon character Mickey Mouse.
  • Hollywood: It is the home of movie studios where Beverly Hills is the home of the movie stars. Located as the neighborhood of Los Angeles city that is an amalgamation of different communities and neighborhood Hollywood is the vibrant destination for night life, shopping and tourism. Hollywood Walk of fame honors celebrities, Hollywood & Highland-a commercial mall, Kodak theater-hosts academy awards and other star studded events, Grauman's Chinese theater-imprints of screen legends, Captain Theater, Egyptian theater are the excellent attractions and landmarks.
San Francisco:
San Francisco is a major financial and insurance center, an international port, and the gateway to Silicon Valley, America's premier high-technology center. The consistently spring like weather and unique atmosphere attract corporations as well as visitors and the solid economic base keeps them visiting again.
  • Golden Gate: World's largest suspension bridge that connect the San Francisco and Marin County. It is the most famous internationally recognized landmark of the state California. It has 6 lane highways and prime transportation ways.
  • China Town: It is the most vibrant and crowded town of immigrants Chinese and the largest Chinese city outside Asia. It is on the Grant Avenue between Bush Street and Columbus Avenue and one of the major sites of San Francisco.
  • Fisherman's Wharf: Fisherman's Wharf is an historic marketplace with trendy restaurants, shops, and street performers. It is used to be not only a flourishing fishing harbor but also a real "Little Italy" appearance.
San Diego:
San Diego is the known as "the Birthplace of California”. It is not only a major naval base and an important natural harbor but it is also a top tourist attraction and resort area, a prominent high technology, aerospace, and aviation production community and fertile agricultural area.
  • San Diego Zoo: It is the one of the best zoological parks of the world and located in the northern Balboa Park. More than 500 exotic plants and over 100 animal species can be found in their natural surroundings including giant panda, polar bear, tigers from Sumatra, tapirs from Malaysia, water dragons and other Asiatic animals as the major attraction. It is like a botanical garden in which many exotic flora bloom through out the year and a paradise of various extinct fauna.
